TITLE
As you can see this has become a new source of frustration and pain for me. =P At least I get to choose the title of the paper that will haun- destro- estrang- occupy me for the rest of the semester.
While performing preliminary research into the blog world, I got linked to Victoria's Secret's PINK! line of clothing, targeted at college students and younger women. This to my mind is a fantastic marketing move by what is basically the most recognizable lingerie name in the world. Nowhere in sight are the svelte blondes and sheer satin of the typical Victoria's Secret catalog; the 20-something models cavort around in boyshorts and practical cotton things while somehow still managing to incite drool. (Chrys, if you're reading this, go salivate.)
As part of the marketing strategy they've included a blog of sorts. Idly scrolling through, I catch onto a fragment: a blog post about wikipedia. Not that there's anything wrong with wikipedia, I myself spend many a week trudging through its hallowed halls, but this post was saying 'Hey, wikipedia is awesome! You should check it out if you haven't already. Plus, it's free!'
...okay. You're a) a college student b) shopping online c) have never heard of wikipedia. Uh.... huh...
They are, however, advertising a PJ Party in chicago with Fergie as the main star. Guess their marketing deparment is doing something right after all. Now, pardon me while I go do some more... research...
