Today I went to get fitted for my wardrobe for the filming of the MOVIE!!!!!! which will require me to travel to 1 Utama by 7am tomorrow, stay there for half the day, move to Avenue K and film some more.
Remember how I said I have the only action scene in the film? Yeah. This is gonna be really fun.
How hard could it possibly have been to find a plain white non-patterned non-striped shirt in 17" or larger collar size costing less than RM 1 bazillion in the entire department store?
Pretty darn hard, actually.
Spent 2 hours shirt hunting, then gave up to do pants. Found a shirt that was just a leetle too small and the production assistant threw up her hands and said she'd try Mid Valley instead. The poor girl looked worked to death. She was very sweet.
Also we could not find a single magenta tie. Actually I lie, we did find one, it cost a hundred dollars and we needed six. (makes hanging motions) Budgets for films appear to be so exorbitant as to be insane. This wardrobe is only going to be worn once and then goodness knows what's going to happen to it
Maybe I should buy it. The outfit isn't half bad actually. I could do with some new ones.

Who exactly are you acting as? Some action hero? Do you at least get a shirtless shot?

I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to talk about the film. I'm not any kind of hero, I get one scene, and I don't talk very much.
More details as they come! I certainly intend to blog about the shoot.

Anyway, hope the shoot goes well - at least you're not paying for the clothes. :D
