Oh god. Longest day ever.
Because of my writing stint I ended up sleeping late, then rushing my work in the computer lab, having meeting extended, finding out about the industrial attachment briefing after that, ending up going home at five, ugh.
While I was in the lab today I saw the girl in front of me browsing the World of Warcraft Armory, which is basically a page that shows you the items and stats of every character in the game. (all 9 million of them) This is a site that no one but WoW players would access, since all of its content is tailored specifically for those who already play the game.
So I walked up and spoke to her. Striking a conversation with random strangers, especially in a quiet place, takes nerve, I will say now. It was not fruitless; she has a level 70 Affliction/Destruction gnome warlock and does the same raids as I do. She's up on the parlance and terminology, balefully noting that her spell hit rating needs to go up as she compliments me on my tier 4 armor.
Needless to say, she has a boyfriend. /headdesk.
I'm going to peck at my short story (Novel? NaNoWriMo is starting soon, and I got plenty of material floating around) and perhaps, maybe, do the shooting script for the video we're shooting on wednesday.
Mostly I'm just going to frag things.

All's fair in love and war. It's a boyfriend. Not a ball and chain.
I'm not sure I take your meaning, sir.
Nerf Warlocks!
Fuck you, seriously.
O.o but you say it all the time...
I know. :D
