Okay, now for the nerdgasm.

I find out (while randomly surfing the interwebs) that a new show is being produced called The Sarah Connor Chronicles (imdb link). It's the story of Sarah and John Connor as they move on from the events of Terminator 2.

The Terminator franchise doesn't hold any particular interest for me at all, until I saw who was going to be IN the show:

Lena Heady as Sarah Connor (That's the Queen from 300)
Thomas Dekker as John Connor (That's Zach from Heroes)
Summer Glau as THE FUCKING TERMINATOR (That's River Tam from Firefly)

River Tam = Terminator.
That is fucking brilliance.
